BANKUNITED HEATHCARE PLANS
Medical Insurance
BankUnited offers three medical plans to eligible employees: Choice, Choice Plus, and Choice HSA. All medical plans are administered in partnership with United Healthcare. All plans provide the same full coverage for preventive care services, the same comprehensive list of covered prescription drugs, as well as the same nationwide network of providers.
Vision Insurance
BankUnited offers eligible employees a vision plan through MetLife. This vision plan provides coverage both in and out of-network.
Dental Insurance
BankUnited offers two dental plans, a DHMO and a PPO plan to eligible employees through MetLife. All plans provide the same full coverage for preventive care services.
Tax Advantaged Accounts
With a BankUnited Tax Advantaged Account you get to use some of the money that would normally go to taxes to help pay for qualified expenses. Eligible employees have the option to enroll in tax advantaged accounts for eligible healthcare, childcare, and commuter expenses.
Supplemental Insurance
In addition to your employer paid or cost sharing plans BankUnited offers supplemental and voluntary benefits to help fill any gaps in coverage and help you plan for the unexpected. These programs you’ll pay for yourself with convenient payroll deductions and they are offered at special group rates that BankUnited has negotiated for you.
Additional Benefits
BankUnited provides additional benefits at absolutely no charge to employees. All eligible employees are automatically enrolled and BankUnited pays 100% of the cost.
